just got a new Atmos Soundbar (Sonos ARC) and eARC TV (LG C1 OLED).
Prior to this I was using a DD only bar (Sonos Beam) and DD-only TV (LG B6 OLED) so I set the ATV to force DD out and didn't worry about things.
Trying to understand if I can get Atmos from UHD rips, served via Plex from my ATV and MrMC. I know streaming apps can stream lossy DD+ Atmos, and the ATV4K also does LPCM 5.1 and Dolby MAT, but not passthrough for TrueHD Atmos...
This is on an ATV4K Gen 2 (2021) if it matters. Running tvOS 14.8 currently, haven't updated to tvOS 15. What is an isn't possible.
Similarly, what is and isn't possible for DV files streamed via Plex and played via MrMC and ATV4K.
