Media is not being marked as watched

After I'm done watching a movie or TV episode, it's not being marked as watched on Trakt. Whilst watching it, I can see it that it's been checked into trakt and shows that I'm currently watching something but when I'm done, it won't mark it. It was working fine a few days ago, I've tried reauthorising trakt but it's still the same.

works fine here, I just checked on the trakt website.. my episodes are marked as watched. can you check that its the same for you on the website dashboard.

if it was working few days ago, I can only think of some change in their reporting api that broke it... you have 3.9.6 MrMC which was released in mid february.

Yes I've checked on the website and its not being marked as watched. The version of Mrmc is the latest from the play store.

I can see from the log file that you are on 3.9.6, my point is that we have not updated MrMC since mid February and you mentioned that this started happening few days ago... I suspect the issue with the Trakt site or some change that we don't know about. I doubt its the change since I see no issues in reporting the watched status here

might be an option for you to try Beta 3.9.7, we have done some cleanups in Trakt reporting and that might help.

EDIT: just looking at the Beta release on Play store, the trakt rework is not in it. If you signup for beta, the next one will have it.

Okay, I've signed up beta on the play store and I'll report back whether or not that's managed to solve it.

Is there a way I can access the beta for the Firestick version aswell because I'm getting the same problem on my 4K firestick too. Debug 8MMIU

Updated to the beta and its still not marking as watched. It's checking in with trakt but it won't mark it as watched when it's finished.

Updated the new beta and now it seems to working again, my episodes are being marked as watched. Thank you!
