Exit video back to home screen

Hi guys, I have just installed mrmc lite version first to test out before making any purchase.

I am able to integrate it to my plex account, and played seamlessly (hoping its direct play and not transcoding). I am able to pause, and fast forward with minimal "lag". However, I am unable to stop and exit the video properly. I pressed the pause button, followed by menu to exit but it played again. So I guess I have to press menu twice or something? And when I managed to "exit" from the video, the still image of the video is there but the audio continues at the background for a good 20-30second until I double tap the "monitor" icon on the remote to exit mrmc, and restart it.

Is there any other way to "fix" this issue I'm facing? Am running on Apple TV 4K (just purchased), and has very little apps (namely the default apps, infuse, plex and youtube) installed with lots of space remaining still. Thank you.

which mrmc plex client, the native one or the extension ?

I'm guessing the native one, where I had to go to settings and sign-in Plex Server? Am on mrmc lite currently. Not sure if purchasing the app will reduce the "wait" time when I would like to exit the app.

Just hit menu, and skip the pause. Menu is a 'back', so when playing, back means exit playback.

MrMC Lite works exactly like MrMC with the exception that only 8 items can be seen and played.

Yes, I did that, click the menu button as a way to stop the video and go back to main screen but it takes a while to do so. It will have a still image, with the audio still ongoing at the back, before moving back. It may take up to 30 seconds if I wait longer. The fastest alternative was to force close the app though.
