Re: MrMC v3.0.0 on GooglePlay
Hello
I just installed MrMC on my Shield 16Gb (2015) and try to watch a movie on the USB drive connected but I get the following message "path not found or invalid".
Means I can not see anything from any storage device connected to Shield USB ports?
Thanks in advance

Just tried this, inserted USB stick. The drive showed up in 'videos', selected and play a video. played fine.
Please describe exactly what you are doing. A debuglog might help show the issue.

There is no Settings menu under SETTINGS (only the following options "file manager", "load profile", "System info", "events") to create a debuglog in my MrMC 3.0.0 so I'll explain the steps I take (please consider that everything is ok while using Kodi instead):
Shield TV is powered off.
I connect my USB drive.
I switch on the Shield TV with drive connected.
I clic on MrMC app in the home page.
I select "Videos" and then "Files".
I can "see" the USB disc but the app does not recognize it showing the message I posted before.
That's all

Re: MrMC v3.0.0 on GooglePlay
Just had a quick question about expert settings and stuff pertaining to the Shield. Is the base install of MrMC what you generally recommend for the Shield. I noticed settings like allow hardware acceleration - Mediacodec was off and adjust display refresh rate was also off. Looking at other Kodi based setups most would have that On and the adjust display refresh rate set to on start/stop.
Also are the highqualityhwscalers enabled by default? Can I still set the scalers to lanczos3 - optimised if I wanted to? Just didn't know if there was other ways to set these up or you have taken care of that stuff. Thanks!

select 'Settings' itself. The tabs are optional areas.gpmc01 wrote:There is no Settings menu under SETTINGS (only the following options "file manager", "load profile", "System info", "events") to create a debuglog in my MrMC 3.0.0 so I'll explain the steps I take (please consider that everything is ok while using Kodi instead):
