Strange one this and difficult to reproduce consistently, but raising it in case it helps you find a problem.
I have found if i watch live tv (1080i - tv headened - 50hz), stop playback, then go to FireTv home page, and watch something else for a while (Prime Video or Iplayer), then go back to MrMC, if MrMC resumes rather than starts up again, then CPU's 2 & 3 are maxed out. CPU's 0 & 1 are ok. However, when this happens Video stutters like crazy. If I close MrMc and resume, everything is fine.
Whats really odd is if I enable debugging (to try and get you a log) this doesn't happen. If I enable debugging MrMc always opens fresh rather than resumes from its previous state. If i disable logging, this happens to me about 30% of the time. Therefore, i have no idea of how to get a log to you!
Does that make any sense and is it something you have seen yourselves?
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

Resuming MrMc 'sometimes' causes CPU's 2&3 to reach 100%

debuglog -> grab mrmc.old.log. It's the previous log. How are you viewing cpu percent ?
"I close MrMc and resume", resume implies MrMC is running and you bounced out to fireOS home. But close implies you actually quit (exited) MrMC. Which one ?

could be doing a lib scan ? iOS/tvOS does that. Forget if we made fireOS do the same.

Re: Resuming MrMc 'sometimes' causes CPU's 2&3 to reach 100%
When the issue occurs, i bounce into firetv home, play something from prime for a while, then open MrMC again. You can tell if MrMc is just resuming because you don't see the MrMc splash screen. I am checking CPU% through both MrMc 'System Info' and also the video codec overlay.
If the CPU's are at 100% then closing MrMC and reopening fixes the problem.
Regarding the logs, i can't reproduce the issue when logging is turned on (as MrMC always seems to start again rather than resume). Because of this, i don't think i can send you a log that will make any sense.

ok, will check to see if I can reproduce this.jamesp26 wrote:When the issue occurs, i bounce into firetv home, play something from prime for a while, then open MrMC again. I am using Plex server for my library. I will disable that to see if it's the cause of the issue.

Bah. I can't recreate this myself at all anymore. I've turned logging off again and have plex turned on, and after extensive usage we didn't get the problem over the weekend. Might of been something else with the firetv causing the issue?
Ignore me for now then!
