Basically, the question is: Does AFTV2 display 4K pictures under MrMC/SPMC when in 4K with the GUI is set to unlimited, i.e. is the framebuffer 4K?

Yes, when GUI is set to 4k, 4k pictures will display at 4k. Tested with 4ktest.jpg. As for kodi forums, was driven off there. Too hostile as anything I post is seen as 'promoting' MrMC. Sucks for them :)
