Kiosk Mode

Is there any chance that Kiosk mode could be added to MrMC.

I have an older alpha of Kodi sideloaded and kiosk mode works in that, but I would much prefer to use MrMC.

not sure what you mean, there is no way to have the tvOS run any app on boot.

When enabled, kiosk mode stops the side menu (when navigating all the way to the left) from appearing, therefore preventing the pesky kids (or wife) from accidentally changing things like the view, sort order etc.
Basically it means that you can't do anything except navigate and choose what to watch (unless going into settings).
It's an option that's been around for quite a while in Kodi / Xbmc.

The kiosk option is something that is exposed/enabled in third party skins, it's not part of stock Kodi skin.

Some skins support it like transparency, sio2 but thats all I can recall.

Kiosk mode is very useful especially for people with kids. I've used several skins in Kodi/XBMC which have the Kiosk option enabled.
Hopefully some day, the Kiosk mode will be available in MrMC aswell.
