Hi, i will check if the memory issue could be the problem. But the issue is not visible instantly, can take an hour (or two) to see it.
I have to check on post processing where i can find it but because it takes a long time to see i think it cannot be related.
Profiles attatched. Can i upload the video somewhere? Did you find anything in my debug log?
Our addon will use the default streaming profile, I can see that the one in the photo is not default.
I am not in front of it now, but I seem to think that htsp is the best thing for us. Try setting it as default and see what it does.
You can upload the file and share the link with us on support @ mrmc . tv if you like.
Have had a chance to do a bit more playing around with this issue. I had the same TvHeadend configuration with the default set to Pass not HTSP in TvHeadend. I hadn't set this, so assume it's a default setting. I did notice that the connections being made from MrMc where HTSP anyway, so I guess MrMc is specifying the connection type.
Have changed default to HTSP and removed pass as the default but problem still exists much the same as before. Also monitoring system resources on TvHeadend. Memory usage was sitting around 30% CPU stayed fairly low, around 2-15%.
I'm now thinking it could be related to the deinterlace settings. Will need to test over a few days, but initial results show turning off deinterlacing to give some improvement. It was set to deinterlace "Auto" and the deinterlace method Deinterlace (half/Yadif). If that's the issue, going to be annoying having to manually turn deinterlacing on / off manually.
Once I've experimented a bit more, will report back.
Same happening here since the last update, 4K movies direct from my Plex server stuttering happens after about 30 minutes, it's not my server, I have been running it for a year, no problems. It just happened since I update the mrmc and tv os, now I don't know which one to blame, the mrmc or tvos update.
Hello, i still have these stuttering issues. What has been done to improve LiveTV experience? If i look at Kodi Matrix on the AppleTV4K it is much smoother. I went to Kodi Matrix instead for TV, but would be nice to have MrMC working as all-in-one official solution

A quiet funny thing is: I have an issue on Kodi but not on MrMC However, I feel the control with Siri remote as a disaster in MrMC in contrast to Kodi - that egg-laying wool-milk pig doesn't seem to exist.
