Emby TV Shows Background Images/Trailer Option

1. The Season page uses a really zoomed in photo of the banner image pulled from Emby. Emby does have a backdrop image that could be used for the background.

I also noticed here the number of episodes shows as 0 for all seasons.

Plus the series original air year shows as the same season year for all seasons. This is a similar issue as to what was fixed with the Plex service.



2. There is no background image displayed on the episode listing page.



3. Plex service gives a trailer option on the movie details page whereas the Emby service in MrMC does not. Can the trailer feature be added with Emby as well if possible?

1. That is the backdrop image we get from emby, I’ll check

2. If we get that from emby listing, sure

3. Not sure that emby has trailers, button is enabled if server sends the link to a local trailer.. will check

I don’t t think these issues are Ariana specific, it probably affects Opacity as well

1. MrMC is pulling from the Banner image which isn't sized properly to be used as a background so has the odd looking zoomed photo. The Backdrop image is in Emby but isn't the one being sent to MrMC.



2. The same background image as in 1 above could be used here as well.

3. Emby has trailers:

note that trailers only work with emby Local trailers... we cannot play youtube links that emby has for items that have no local trailers

Looks fixed in latest Test Flight except for point 2:

There is no background image displayed on the episode listing page.
