What about Flat Sattelite Dish ?
You can attach them almost anywhere. On the window frame, on the balcony, etc.
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

Re: TV Infobar
They can also be set up indoors.
Simply position on a window.
I've tried it with mine before.

Without sharing the photos of my apartment and the location, just trust me that if I had a way to put a dish anywhere... I would have already

Is the satellite just to test tvheadend to code or for motivation to sort it,. If just to test and code sure one of us could provide a remote tvheadend for you to do your magic

Re: TV Infobar
@Ted377 , it will be in the next TestFlight ...
I have found the nice balance of showing the info bar, OSD and settings...
1. Select will bring up the new info bar, it stays on until manually closed
2. once closed, it brings out the OSD(auto hides in 5 sec)
3. as before, top settings bar opens by going one click up
Let me know what you find, I am mainly interested in any issues you might find(missing info, screwed up logic... etc), we can worry about changing colours and badges later if you think it needs replacing.
