I have an Apple TV 4K with MrMC. I recently bought an Nvidia Shield TV 2019. The ATV4K and Shield are connected with the same NAS.
I installed Kodi on the Shield. But for several Blu-rays Kodi did not show any main movie titles in the simplified menu. So I tried MrMC on the Shield. And it has the same issue...
To be clear: the SAME movie from the SAME location plays fine using MrMC on the ATV4K: it shows the simplified menu with 1 main movie. MrMC on the Shield shows the simplified menu with NO main movie.
Am I missing some setting in Kodi and MrMC? Am I missing something in the Shield?
I'm using MrMC Lite on the Shield, just to see if MrMC would handle some Blu-rays different than Kodi. On my ATV4K the full version of MrMC is installed. Perhaps MrMC Lite has no web server support?
Must be easy to reproduce? The Shield is almost clean out of the box. I only installed some apps and I did not install some add-ons or whatever.
Kodi and MrMC Lite both show no main movie title on some Blu-rays. MrMC (full) on the ATV4K works fine for the same movie from the same NAS (Apple Time Capsule) and does show a main movie title in the simplified menu. For some Blu-rays both Kodi and MrMC Lite everything is okay and a main movie title can be selected.
