Settings and Music not showing on Home Screen

I'm really not having much luck recently.

Not paying attention I hit the reset skin tab, which resulted in some strangeness.

I had Extensions and Favourites on the Home Screen, despite them showing as being disabled within Settings, as I want.

But most concerning of all is that Settings and Music have disappeared from the main screen, one moment they there, and now they are gone. This is all the more strange as I understand that the home screen settings tab is uncustomisable.

I am using Amber on an Apple TV.

This situation also means I cannot provide a crash log.

I rather suspect that it will require a delete and reinstall, something I really, really do not want to do but cannot see an alternative.

Once again I am grateful for any help or suggestions.

Wierdly it sorted itself out.

When I next fired it up, with the intention of doing the reinstall, there was the home screen as it should be.

I have not the slightest idea how, as I had resigned myself to having to delete, so had stopped banging my head against the digital wall.

There's a couple of oddities, it won't let me change the background for the various different types of media, and I still can't get it to go straight into films, TV shows and music, but compared to what I thought I was going to have to do that does not matter at all.
