Playback Stuttering / High Bitrate Videos

Hi All

I'm having playback problems (stuttering / audio delay) with remuxed video files with high bitrates (not a 4k file).

Format : AVC
Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec
Format profile : [email protected]
Bit rate : 36.6 Mb/s
Maximum bit rate : 38.0 Mb/s

The funny thing is that on the original PLEX client the playback works without any problems.
I also tested it on the infuse client - also no problems.

Also did multiple tests with different hardware acceleration settings enabled / disabled - nothing worked.

I uploaded a debug log: 76BYU.log with further details.

Does anyone else also experienced these problems?

reset video acceleration to default settings, enabled debug (so we can see more info), then play something you are having issues. play for 5-10 mins so we can see it. Then upload a new log.

I did as you asked and played 3 different test videos - each approx. 5 minutes.
All three video files are remuxed blurays.

Hummm, this is using the script.plex, not the internal plex client.
Are you saying MrMC's internal plex client plays fine but the script.plex does not ?

No! The playback within the MrMC App is faulty ... with or without the Plex Plugin.

The original Plex App (issued by Plex) works without any issues - that's the strange thing but
I don't want to use the original Plex App (issued by Plex) because of it's limited subtitle options.

Also the Infuse App plays both problematic files without any issues.

Fixed in next testflight push.

The media was incorrectly flagged in vtb/avf as possible interlaced and passed to ffmpeg decoder even though it was flagged by the demuxer as progressive.
