Have mrmc on my Apple TV 4K and whilst it’s working great with Trakt, Plex and Emby, locally stored movies are a real pain in the ass to scan in. I have my HDD connected to my router via USB and add media via windows SMB. All is found fine but the movie titles aren’t detected very well. I’d say on average maybe 40% scan correctly. I have checked TMDB that I name them correctly and with the year in brackets after but nevertheless a few moves are still not named correctly. Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018) for example. It leaves it unnamed and when manually amending it doesn’t even find the film. Wreck it Ralph is listed with a year of (2018) but it is the movie info from the first movie Wreck it Ralph. Any ideas where I’m going wrong?
Thanks for the reply. I have just scanned the media and afterwards tried to manually amend Ant-Man and the Wasp. It showed me the correct film in the list which I chose but nevertheless it then labelled it as the first Ant-Man film. The log has been uploaded with the name GABPS.log hope that’s the correct info you need. Thanks.
Is someone able to let me know what the fix is? I’ve tried scanning again and it just doesn’t work for me. I don’t understand why this has been marked as solved.
