TV-Shows do not appear on home screen

Hello com.

Subject says it all.
I can add videos within the sources. Appears on home screen immediately. But I cannot find a way to add TV-Shows.

Am I just blind or is there a tricky workaround for this?

I think so.
There are a few kategories to chose on „add source“. Pictures, Videos, Playlists... no TV-Shows.
So I chosed videos, pointed at a source on my NAS and on being asked, what this source contains, I selected TV-Shows.

But I can only access the TV-Shows by file list. There is no kategory icon on the home screen and they are not being analyzed and displayed with IMDB content and pictures like the movies are.

Sorry, don‘t know, what you mean... could you explain?

when you set the media content, there is an option of which media provider is used.

Looks like the file info, the content is not being scraped. Once you selected the "TV Shows" as you described, you need to point MrMC to the source where to obtain the descriptions from. This shouldn't be something like TheTVDB or similar.

Seems I was not patient enough...
I added TV-Shows before scanning of the movies had finished...

Oops I did it again - with enough patience - and everything works as expected.
