"passthrough" option in video settings

There is still a "passtrough" option in the video settings for a single video file. Does this option still have any function since Apple deacticated "passthrough" in tvOS?

It has no function anymore and will be removed if tvOS is greater than 11.2.

Ok, thank you for the info. But under tvOS 12.4 the "passthrough" option is still shown in the video settings of the currently playing file. Maybe this is a bug, because in the system settings there is no such option under "Audio".
