Will try tonight.
Would you also be able to map "back" (may already be added, havent tested yet), looks like the 2nd from the right may be used for that? Seems like these commands are configurable, from what I found:

back is mapped to "menu" , I dont see how those 2 buttons are implemented. I'll dig around but no promises for initial.

rest is fixed and it will be added to the next TestFlight version

Otherwise it would be nice to have an advanced setting where you could choose whether to use "menu" as "menu" or "menu" as "back".
Personally I hardly ever use the menu button, because I'm almost always in the same folder (plus subfolders) that contains my video files.
Main menu would then still be accessible by going back a few times and when you start the app you always start at the menu as well...

Using "menu"as "back" would save a lot of time when you're at the bottom of a long filelist and want to go up a folder (ie press menu instead of scrolling all the way up). And I think with the right remote "back" also stops a video and goes back to the list view when watching a video (instead of pausing, then stopping)?

remote menu == back , its always been that since ATV1 days

to get context menu, you hold "select" which in siri remote means press touch pad and hold

When I press the menu button on ATV4 it goes straight back to the Home menu? Haven't used it on an ATV for while now (rapsberry Pi with MCE remote), will test some more this evening.

The remote apps in the AppStore all seem to work, though for some reason Constellation muted the sound (red mute icon in the top right corner of the screen, took me a while to figure out how to get sound back as I had already deleted Constellation. Reinstalled Constalltion, mute disappeared).

1. - will .iso and VIDEO_TS be supported in the future? Hardly use it, but...
3. - would be nice to be able to set the "skip" interval manually (i.e. 45 seconds).
1) DVD aka VIDEO_TS is gone, never to return. The reasons are a) requires libdvd and friends and those get into the area of DRM which gets tricky under the App Store. xxx.iso is gone for the main reason that most xxx.ios files are DVDs so useless with out DVD handling.

3) FF/RW handling comes from changes kodi devs made. I'm not a fan of it and it's on the list to refactor into something I did a long time ago for Pivos which works much better. Like mentioned, on the list.

amet/davilla. Just checked the "Menu"button behavior:

ATV2:
When I browse through subfolders and click on [Menu], I jump back one folder.
ATV4:
When I browse through subfolders and click on [Menu], I jump back to the home menu.

ATV2:
When I play a video and click [Menu] the video stops and I see the file list.
ATV4:
When I play a video and click [Menu] the video continues and the file list is overlayd over the playing video.
