Hello everybody,
I'm looking for a new streaming device for live tv.
I've read that the Fire TV Stick 4K (3rd gen) will support deinterlacing. Is it stable for using live tv with mrmc now?
The previous hardware had problems with the acceleration (green artefacts in picture)
Is there any changes now?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

Re: Fire TV Stick 4K - Live TV
Fire stick 4k is not yet stable for deinterlacing. Maybe in the future Amazon will fix it. I use Fire TV 3 pendant (Amlogic-based). It it stable and it works with decent deinterlacing/scaling.
