Sorry but it looks like the new beta cant read uhd hevc anymore. It is a step back from the past version.

After several test, not only uhd is involved as hd hevc movies are not playing too.

Please be specific, the few that I have for testing are playing fine. A debuglog would be helpful.

Same for me, all my hevc content is causing crash and return to home screen after the latest update. Can’t post the dubuglog right now, will do later. Apple TV 4K

Apologies if there is a setting for this that I have missed, though is there any chance we could have an option for what the new quit button does? Could it just exit when clicked rather than show the power menu and having to click again.

Not for tvOS/iOS. Having a user control to quit an app is explicitly forbidden for Apps in the Apple Store and is grounds for instant rejection during review.

For tvOS, double click home on siri remote, left/right to MrMC and swipe up. tvOS will kill MrMC.

Humm, obviously I've done something very bad :) Is this localized to only the AppleTV 4K or is the non 4K version also hit.
