REcommended settings for Fire TV (1st gen)

Hi all,

I recently hooked my first gen Fire TV back up and installed MrMC. The only settings changes I made were to point it at my Kodi MySQL library and to set change refresh rate to "on start/stop".

I only had time for a brief play with it but noticed that when playing a 720p24 video things were a little stuttery. My tv indicated that it had switched to 1080p24 mode.

I'm sure it's just that I haven't got things configured right yet, so I haven't gotten any logs as yet.

First I thought I would come and ask what the recommended settings are on this hardware - for both MrMC and the Fire TV?

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion.

I played around with the switch delay. Anything more than the default 4 seconds seems to make my hdmi switch stop sending any signal through to my AVR (and from there to the TV). Even at the 4 seconds default it can be a bit hit and miss.

When that happens I have to change inputs on the switch and then change back again to get the signal restored.

Certainly seems to be an issue with my setup. When I get chance I'll try without the switch connected. I'm also going to try and get in touch with the manufacturer of the switch to see if they can help.
