I have been using MrMC for a while now (years?) and things just seem to be getting worse for me.

Before, it seemed like the library would reset (to empty) maybe every year and a half or so (on all 3 of my Apple TVs - 2x HD and one 4k).

But these days, it's resetting every 3 days or even daily.

Nothing has changed in my setup in years. I have an exported NFS mount and everything comes from there (Movies and TV shows). I set the content as TV shows and/or movies, fix the folders that don't automatically grab the correct show based on the name, and all is right.

Until I log in and see something about the scraper and some other extension being updated and everything's gone out of my library. The NFS mount is still listed, but my library is empty.

I've tried uninstalling then re-installilng the app to no avail.

Is there anything I can do to prevent this? I really don't know how to fix this. I was fine when it only happened annually, but daily?

Try disabling IPV6 on the ATV. There have been several posts and thread on this.

FWIW, disabling IPv6 did nothing to resolve this. I mean, it was definitely an interesting exercise over the past years - disabling ipv6 on every device and then running nmap and wireshark to verify.

Regardless if anyone has any other ideas I’m open.

Still happens on all 3 Apple TVs and importing my library every month is really a pain.

(Probably should mention it’s an NFS mount.)
