MrMC

Hi,

I've recently switched to using MRMC on AppleTV. Previously I ran Kodi on a Mac.

It feels like I've tried every possible combination of SMB settings, but I cannot get MRMC to connect to my SMB Shares. These work from other Macs in the house, as well as from the AppleTV itself (using VLC/FileExplorer).

It's very likely this is a user problem, but I'm pretty stuck.

Is there a cookbook/tutorial/wiki detailing how to set this up?

Errors are either 'Share not available' or applicaiton hangs/very long timeouts, or ID/PW loops.

Connecting to Jellyfin does work pretty well, but I'm trying to set up 'direct' access to some music files.

For whatever it's worth... I just realized there's an iPhone version of MRMC and I installed it and it unfortunately appears to behave the same way.
