MrMC

Hi folks,

MrMc has been fantastic so far and I am using it on both of my fire tvs, generation 1. Recently I ran into a problem where playing anything for 5-8 minutes results in MrMc quitting to the fire tv home screen. Both fire tvs are having the same problem.

This problem seems to have started recently when I started using prime video.

I have disabled the screensaver but that didn't help.

Any help is appreciated and I have a bug number if that would help: n3i6u.log

After no help on the forum I just persevered with the issue. Lo and behold, when I cancelled my Amazon Prime subscription, Mrmc no longer quit to the home screen after around 5 mins.

I'm guessing this is a bug that should be addressed.

So the problem is happening again even without subscribing to amazon prime video. Any ideas out there around what I can do to resolve this?

Mind capturing another debuglog, it’s unclear why that’s happening or what’s crashing the app.

I don’t see that anything was playing in the log.... are you sure you played something waited for it to crash, opened MrMC again and uploaded the log?

Oh okay. I don't think I had uploaded the log. I just had another crash and this time I went back in and uploaded the log. It was the same as before: I7DAM.log

hm, I still don't see that anything was played... are you sure its crashing during the playback?

I see the last event in the debuglog old (from the previous session) is connection to the TVH PVR backend, could that be crashing it? HTSP is preferred streaming profile for TVH, others will strain the backend. if you disable those, does it still crash?

I have enabled only HTSP in streaming from TVHeadend and I'm waiting for the next crash. So far nothing!

It's strange, the first time this happened the crashes happened consistently but now it is infrequent.
