Incomplete In-Progress TV using Kodi DB

Hi All

Has anyone else seen the issue where MrMC using a pre-existing Kodi 18 database is only showing a random subset of the TV shows that are actually in-progress?

I Have maybe 10-15 in progress shows visible in Kodi, but only 3 or so of those showing in MrMC and they are random ie. not the most current or the least current, just random

Movies seem to be correct, but TV Shows not so

Appreciate any insights. I just bought the paid version purely for the mysql integration - assuming the limited numbers showing was due to the limits of the free version, so this is disappointing!

Let’s see the Kodi advanced setting and MrMC debuglog please.

Are you sure you have connected to a correct database ?

100% sure that I'm connected to the correct mySQL DB. Some of the watched status is correct. Its just missing items. Also, if I start watching a TV series on the Apple TV, it shows up correctly on the Kodi clients, proving its the same DB.

Will need to get the debug log. Not done that before. Will report back when I have it.

Not 100% sure what one will see in the log. It’s not like I can click a button to force the issue. Let me know if there is anything I can do the nudge the system so the log is meaningful

Thanks ... I’ll have a look, debuglog might show some errors in database connection.

Code: Select all

10:09:49.570 T:6163116032 ERROR: Database is not present, does the user has CREATE DATABASE permission
10:09:49.570 T:6163116032 ERROR: Unable to open database: main_video116 [2006](MySQL server has gone away)
10:09:49.570 T:6163116032 INFO: MYSQL server has gone. Will try 4 more attempt(s) to reconnect.
that's the only error I see relating to Video database

Despite that error - its clearly actually connecting as otherwise I wouldn’t be seeing all the content. And I am. It’s just the listing of in-progress tv that’s incomplete.

I’ve fully closed MrMC and restarted it. New debug log 0LB77. Maybe that will show more detail as it would have started a new session to the DB?

Can confirm that main_video116 exists on the server btw.
