For example: When I am watching a TV recording I often open the TV guide to see what is on live. Ideally the guide would just disappear after a few seconds if I don't select anything and I can continue watching the recording but it doesn't and none of the remote buttons seem to allow me to exit the guide and return to whatever is currently being played. Is there a shortcut I am missing to clear any guide/menu etc. and carry on watching what's playing? Cheers

I am currently on Opacity to keep the interface as simple as possible.

Ariana does have a "Player" button at the top of the main menu which seems to do what I want but it is quite tricky to navigate regularly.

can you please snap a quick photo of how you get to the guide you are talking about, I cant seem to reproduce here ... but I do have limited LiveTV now days

While watching a recording, I use the menu (menu.png) to get to the guide (guide.png) then I want to return to watch the recording. Pressing menu takes me alternately to "Favourites, No favourites fount..." and the top level menu but never back to the full screen video. Thanks for looking at this!

got it, added the "full screen" button, it will take you to full screen playback from menu.png

it will be in the next version of mrmc

Would it be possible to make pressing the "Menu" button at the top level menu switch to full screen playback if there's something playing?

Just pressing menu a few times to get back to watching content would be super user friendly.

Appreciate maybe this may not be as straightforward as it sounds.
