Audio stops when skipping forward or back

Using the “Tube” shield. I’m using a Plex server to deliver content. I’m using audio passthrough to a Sony receiver.
When playing content if I skip forward or back the audio pops in for a split second and then stops (video keeps playing). A stop a restart is required to bring it back.
Has anyone else run into this issue?
