Remote control, VIDEO_TS and .iso, skip options

Been testing for a bit with the testflight version.
Three questions I have so far:
1. - will .iso and VIDEO_TS be supported in the future? Hardly use it, but...
2. - any idea if it will be possible to add support for the oldschool Mircosoft MCE remote (or any suggestions for a remote that has more buttons and is supported? Mainly looking for three extra buttons that I use a lot: "delete", to throw away episodes right after watching them. "back", to scroll through folders, and "stop".
3. - would be nice to be able to set the "skip" interval manually (i.e. 45 seconds).

1. probably not, but will confirm later
2. will be done, not for the initial release
3. interval can be set to variety of things see below ...

Noticed [3] this morning, had a quick look, but had to go to work.
It looks like you can select the different skip steps to use (for example leave out the 30 secs, 15 minutes) when skipping?
Would be nice if you could also change the step itself, so for example choose: 10sec, 45sec and 1min30 as intervals, or 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42

That's just nitpicking though. I'll probably set it to only use 30 seconds
Is VIDEO_TS/iso against Apple policy? Noticed that none of the streaming apps seem to support them?

True.
But I guess almost anyone has an old concert DVD from years ago still sitting on a harddrive somewhere to watch every few years

I suggest move that to MKV and throw that dvd player out
going back to 2) , please try to setup your MCE remote in Apple TVs remote interface, you can teach it your 3rd party remote buttons. that should work while you are playing media. only thing I noticed is that Stop is not implemented, I'll add it now

too bad for iso files ...
A lot of videos from concert (amateur filming, tv shows, ...) are still on DVD, even 2015 shows (from dimeadozen for example).
I use kodi on Rasp for that reason. I hope you'll add this feature.
I really don't like to re-encode hundreds iso files, not for the time it will take, but re-encoding is always quality loss.
Thanks
EDIT : I just saw that we can make mkv without re-encoding the video.
