Framerate switching not working on own recording videos

I got now a AppleTV 4K and i want to use it instead of my Nvidia Shield (with Kodi and MrMC usage). Main reason is it that the Apple TV allows the framerate switching to Netflix and Prime Video. This is for me very important.

Via MrMC i want to play my own recordings and some local movies. The framerate switching for the local movies is working. But not for my recordings.
I have two formats of my recordings:

M2T Files:
Format : MPEG-TS at 26,1 Mb/s

Video #0 : MPEG Video at 24,5 Mb/s
Aspect : 1440 x 1080 (1.778) at 25.000 fps
Profile : Main@High 1440

Audio #0 : MPEG Audio at 384 kb/s

M2TS Files:
Format : BDAV at 23,2 Mb/s

Video #0 : AVC at 22,0 Mb/s
Aspect : 1920 x 1080 (1.778) at 50.000 fps
Profile : [email protected]

Audio #0 : AC-3 at 256 kb/s

Actually i am using the MrMC lite version. I want to be sure everything is working fine before buying the full version.
In AppleTV settings the framerate switching is activated. I suppose that the GUI of AppleTV is set to 4K 50Hz because it detected my European location.

Funny funny... It is enabled and framerate switching for MKV movies works.
Or are there any special settings for 50i/50p videos needed?

If tvOS default framerate for you is 50fps then it won't switch for 25fps or 50fps content because the framerate already matches.

Thanks for the hint. I suggest that my tvOS framerate is at 50Hz, but i could not find where i can check or change it.

I performed a cross check on my Shield. I set the OS framerate to 50Hz and there was no framerate switching on my two file types.

@davilla, what about the idea to not wait the 4 seconds (delay after framerate switching) when there has been no framerate switch?
