Hello, I have updated to 3.9.2 and when playing videos 1080p 25fps not change resolution, it plays at 3840x2160 (in videos at 24p it changes resolution correctly). In 3.8.1 it changed resolution correctly. Is it a bug of the latest version or mrmc? (I have 7.2.3 oreo in shield, I have not updated to 8.0 pie).

SOLUTION: I updated the shield to 8.0.1 and the resolution change problem at 1080p 25hz has been fixed. There was a problem with shield version 7.2.3 and mrmc 3.9.2 and later versions.

Switching to 1080p25 works for me.

However, there do need to be some updates to the switching logic. 480p25 files are switching to 1080p25 instead of 720p50.

Do you have mrmc 3.9.2 and shield 7.2.3?

It's basically what @cosmoxl says.

Your TV supports 4K@25, and mrmc gives priority to matching refresh rate, so mrmc switckes to 4K@25 rather than 1080@50.

@cosmoxl has said that switching to 1080p25 works for him, but it doesn't work for me in 3.9.2, when in 3.8.1 it worked for me correctly. According to what you say, don't switching to 1080@24 and stay in 4k@24, but it is not, switching to 1080@24 is correctly.

I have updated to the new version 3.9.3 and I see that this bug has not been fixed. I will try to explain better:

- In version 3.8.1:
Videos at 3840x2160p 24hz play at 3840x2160p 24hz - Correct
Videos at 1920x1080p 24hz play at 1920x1080p 24hz - Correct
Videos at 1920x1080p 25hz play at 1920x1080p 25hz - Correct
Videos at 1280x720p 25hz play at 1280x720p 25hz - Correct

- In version 3.9.2 / 3.9.3:
Videos at 3840x2160p 24hz play at 3840x2160p 24hz- Correct
Videos at 1920x1080p 24hz play at 1920x1080p 24hz - Correct
Videos at 1920x1080p 25hz play at 3840x2160p 25hz - Incorrect
Videos at 1280x720p 25hz play at 3840x2160p 25hz - Incorrect

The resolution change is not made in 25hz content. Can you explain why with version 3.8.1 (and with kodi) the resolution change was made and with 3.9.2 / 3.9.3 it does not?

@koying and @amet Any solution to this bug?
