"passthrough" option in video settings

There is still a "passtrough" option in the video settings for a single video file. Does this option still have any function since Apple deacticated "
passthrough" in tvOS?

It has no function anymore and will be removed if tvOS is greater than 11.2.

Ok, thank you for the info. But under tvOS 12.4 the "
passthrough" option is still shown in the video settings of the currently playing file. Maybe this is a bug, because in the system settings there is no such option under "Audio".
