I upgraded from Lite to paid version and all my profile settings & shares didn’t move with the upgrade. It created a new app from scratch. How do I export my settings from Lite version into paid version?

For now, they are 2 separate applications and settings/shares cannot be transferred unfortunately.

For what, to transfer the settings?

If setting new shares is a lot of effort, Apple will gladly refund you. Just send them the request

You could have paid $25+ for something else too.

I just buy this app & already I’m getting piled on, really? Thanks for the nice welcome to the forum. For your information, I already spent an hour of my time setting up trial & already got another hour into the paid version because it doesn’t have the most basic upgrade feature, “ retaining user settings”. Is that my over expectation? I know my time isn’t worth anything to those here but have a little understanding.

If it’s the same app then of course user settings need to be maintained, our lite version is a different app for now and unfortunately there is no way to move settings across as apple sandboxes the app user folder.

Your only comment is that you “spent $7....” hence my comment for you to go and get it back from Apple... if you check the forums here you will see that most of the time we are nice to users ... but it’s a two way street, it has to be mutual

Agree. From the short time I’ve had to see the app in action this evening, I’m so far quite impressed. Very full featured, been using Infuse. The PVR client is NICE. Rocky start but I’m optimistic future forum discussions will be positive.

Is there a way to export>import a config from ATV4k>iPhone app? I didn’t come across it flexing the app or searching this forum.

Again, no because it’s a separate app. We opted to split the app to Apple TV and iOS for now, this will be changing in future.
