I have a issue when I am trying to watch a movie the mrmc crashes. I start the movie but I crashes.
But when I watch a series in series it works fine..! Both movie and series are streamed from the same NAS. Only difference is the metadata I have choosed.

details about the crashed video would be nice. mrmc.log would have it

All movies..! Just found out that it was the sub downloading service Popnapisi that was the problem.
But how can I find more service too download sub? openSubtitles doesn't seem to work.

Popnapisi is fixed in testflight.

Probably a stupid question but what is test flight?

TestFlight is how you can beta test apps before they are released to the App Store for the general public.

Got openSubtitles to work, but Popnapisi is crashing.
