MrMC can't play HLG files is it an apple limitation or ?

With the new Sony XZ2 phone and Sony A7 III mirrorless camera you can record 4k video in HDR HLG.
Is it possible to get MrMC to play such files correctly now it does not.

If you play an HLG video does your TV flash that it's receiving HLG?
I've tried to download an HLG sample but the ones I find online won't download because the host has been overloaded.

My UHD never flashes anything, that would be annoying
But it knows nothing about HLG or Dolby Vision. Too old I guess.
And the AppleTV4/4K knows nothing about HLG, only SDR, HDR/10 and Dolby Vision.
FIle plays, we tag it as HDR/10 for a tvOS switch.

OK. I thought as much. I didn't think HLG was something that was added via firmware since its release.
