How to request Testflight access: Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "The cuss you are", include your email address tied to device, which flavor (tvOS, iOS or GooglePlay). Users that are already in testflight 3.0.7 are already in this series.

With this series, we move to 10.2 min for iOS/tvOS. VideoToolBox is refactored to linked in rather than dyloaded and for tvOS, it is set to be enabled by default. This is also the start of Trakt support, push only right now.

Not sure yet :) The bump to 10.2 api touches just about everything but 'should' be ok. Hopefully this will be a painless version bump (unlike the last one :)

I didn't notice anything different except AVFoundation choice is exposed. What's to come of that?

AVFoundation is an experimental decoder for darwin platforms. Potentially even less CPU usage than VideoToolBox. Similar to MediaCodec (surface), it bypasses the normal render path and decodes direct to a view (surface) that is under the OpenGL view. Work-in-progress.

It's been exposed under iOS for some time now. With the move to tvOS 10.2, we can finally expose it under tvOS too.
