Probably user error but i added my movie library from another mac via smb (since there is no afp that i used to use for kodi) and it scanned all content, added it all and everything seemed golden but when i go to play anything via library or going to the file i get the confirmation click then nothing. I still use the same share on my atv2 via smb and it worked fine (well up until the 6.2.1 jailbreak but that another issue). Any ideas or anything i can post to help solve this? Not sure how i'd access the logs on this one since its not jalbroken.

osx smb is really smbX which is not supported yet. Use 'SMBup' osx app to restore the normal smb on osx.

I have performance problems when playing something from an Windows Server Share. If I reshare the sane within an Virtual Machine over a Linux SMB Share, then playback is fine. So there is a bug when using Windows Shares (SMB).

How can I help to find out where the problem exactly is?
