video levels with 2.8.1

Just getting back home after being away and testing the Fire TV and video levels.

I don't see any difference in behavior from 2.8.0 to 2.8.1.

Only ff allows me to reveal all highlight levels. Any chance mediacodec will do what we want?

Not with MediaCodec (Surface), we have no control over the rendering. Maybe with plain MediaCodec.

I mean mediacodec. I don't use surface.
