I cant find the OSD menu when I want to play a film of my emby server. Do you have the same issue?
pausing gives you the scrub bar
swiping down, when paused, should bring up the settings OSD
is it possible with only one click? i really want to use the OSD while playback instead of pause first.
You have two choices, a ) progress bar with scrubber (new OSD), or b) old OSD. The scrubber requires that playback be paused.
EDIT: what exactly do you want to do with the OSD ?

I want to change/ switch between the audio sources/ subtitles.

Click select once, it brings the new scrubbing bar... swipe down and you have subs/settings.... same as tvOS
If you want old osd, enable expert mode in remote settings

I bet you did.

Oh gawd, I like the MrMC family here.
On a side-note, @amet:
The recent update got me back to square one regarding "OK/Select" button...

(
Would you mind to amend?
Ist there a way to make the amendment permanent? Or at least to have it user-changeable so I can do it on my own?

I was waiting for you to comment

I’ll look into it, I think the permanent fix got lost in some merge... I know how we can get it fixed permanently... stay tuned
EDIT: should be fixed now

Noticed something I didn't think of before with scrubbing......
Can we have an option to disable scrubbing with thumbnail, for strm files ?
Why do you think ?
Well let me explain.
I have the complete VOD catalogue of my IPTV provider dumped to strm files with a special tool.
Those strm files are part of separate Movie library in MrMC (accessed with separate MrMC profile), so I can watch VOD movies from my IPTV provider, where the library keeps track of what I have seen, easy movie selection by genre etc.
When scrubbing is activated and I make a jump to a certain point with scrubbing, I noticed that for generation of the thumbnail, MrMC uses an extra connection to my IPTV provider. As you know most IPTV providers are single connection accounts and for multi connection you pay more. I have 3 connections with my subscription, but my family members use them too.
So in short, what is the best possible solution for MrMC preventing that extra connection to my IPTV provider when scrubbing is done with a setting, without losing scrubbing for local library content ?

We could exclude xxx.strm files from scrubber.

Wouldn't that effect users who have other strm content (without connection limit) and would like to to use scrubbing, if no option in settings is present ?
If you block all strm content from scrubbing maybe those users wouldn't be happy, if no option to set it, is present.
