I'm very excited to read this, just registered to say it.
Been a long time Kodi user on a jailbroken Ipad Air 2 and I was waiting for Kodi to come on Apple Store so i could update my Ipad to iOS 10, and thats while i was looking over the internet for official kodi on App Store that was suggested mrmc to me.
And now i read you will support emby ? Ok I'm buying your app as soon as this is available !

Edit : ok bought it and used the mysql for now ;o, you are too fast for me tho, you are already on kodi 17 , and my raspberries with Openelec are still stuck in 16.1. Going for manual library update for now on the app until emby is there.

Will the collections work with emby?
Will there be an offline mode? I mean will it be possible to watch my local movies without internet connection?

we are still working on it, aim is to support everything that Emby server has to offer

it works in local/LAN mode... if your server is on your local network it will work.

1st iteration is local only. Then we bring in hitting remotes. Collections and folders are on the list to hit too.

Great, Emby support was the only thing I was waiting for before getting MrMC

Just because we can TV Shows and SignIn by Pin working now. This shows two server sources, both are currently remote (I'm not home right now). Plex sources would also be listed if enabled.
