is there anywhere in mrmc where i can set the global audio delay?
or this option is only available per file?

play something, bring up OSD, go to audio settings, set delay, now scroll to very bottom, set as default.
Now everything will have that initial value as default.

my "fix" for washed-out colors in HDR (for formats other than HEVC) was to disable VTB. After this, all is great.
