The swipe is nice to have and works a lot better than before but not perfect. I find on the main screen one swipe horizontally blows through 3 or 4 items with little effort, and the same effort browsing TV shows scrolls through 1 or 2. I guess it depends on that view option you are using.
swipe up/down vs swipe left/right. been fiddling with this, best I can see is your thumb moves left/right much better than up/down :) There is some scaling to try to compensate for this effect. I could increase the up/down factor to make it move more..

Can you use a timeout in complement to boundary check to determine if the touch is intentional and intended to used as a swipe instead of a click?

If the touch event lasts e.g. for at least .5 seconds then all directional input will immediately result in the corresponding movement.

Also I would like it if it recognized and differentiated the movement if the list is smaller than e.g. 10 items so it feels more responsive.
When I swipe I expect it to stop at each end and also switch directions when I do.

Don't know if anyone agrees or understands what I'm saying or if it's possible to implement.
There already is a touch down timer running. If finger stays within a -0.2, -0.2 bounds of starting touch point and lifts, on lift it is is a tap.
Swipe vs pan is harder, right now if finger lifts before 0.5s, it is a swipe else it is a pan.

We are looking into behavior mods according to number of items in a list.

Ahh, progress at last :)

Ignore the green overlay, it's for testing focus. And the twitchiness is just my fat fingers :)

new testflight pushed out for tvOS

IRremote handling regression should be fixed.
Center touch exclude bounds is smaller as is pan check bounds. So it should be more responsive now.
Added new visual dynamic focus engine. There might be skin artifacts, we have not explored the entire gui span of all the skins.

We have debug logging turned way up on sire remote handling. As always, Debuglog are most helpfull.

Seems a little *too* responsive now. I'll play around with it more in the morning.

Pans ? That's a slide with finger down but not clicked. Vs a Swipe which is finger down, quick move then finger up, again not clicked.

Any feedback on the focus tracking visual effect ?

I’m not a big fan of focus tracking visual effects with Amber, but in MrMC they seem pretty decent. Maybe in the actual skin coming up it’ll be good too, but right now since I use Amber I don’t really like it (prob due to the way Amber hilights things as being selected).

And yes, panning is way too fast. I’ve also found I like the Sir remote a lot better if I turn the sounds off. It’s just too much clicking and a loud obnoxious one at that.

Agreed, panning is too fast :) I've reduced it's responsiveness for next build. Should be out in a few hours. I'd really love some way to fetch the tvOS settings for Siri remote but there is no public API. I hesitate exposing this setting :)

Both visual focus effects can be turned off, settings -> system
Enable Siri remote focus zoom
Enable Siri remote focus slide

We added these to tune for existing skin effects. For example, in Si02, the focused control is already zoomed so another zoom is not needed.
