We have that except that A5 is now automatic, on a timer... And we want it without timer? correct?
Hmmmm

The timer can still remain.
Except when the description is opened to read it.
Don't we already have that?

if "top" bar is open, OSD will not close... test latest TestFlight please and let me know how it should be. @Montoya and @eazytv also, if you would like to add your $0.02 .. now its the time

.
I would love to finish this up so we can slowly start rolling out 3.9.7

Okay, that's all from my side.
The controls should be as simple as possible and not require a high school diploma

I say from my side the operation would be very good.
The fact is that the functions with the Siri are very limited.
So you have to make the best of it and it shouldn't be too cumbersome

What I have to complain about is that the text is a little too far to the right and this means that it is no longer completely displayed.
Can you move it closer to the from-to time?
Maybe a little more?
I do not know if it is feasible because not everyone has the 24h format but am and pm.
And unfortunately after hiding the infobar, the PVR controlbar is still shown to me.
When switching the channels, they must then be hidden via the menu button or you just wait the auto hide time to get to the next channel.
I hope you know what I want to say with it.
1. switch from channel a to b
2. Infobar is shown (auto hide 3 sec.)
3. if you do not switch within this 3 sec., the control bar comes automatically and I can not switch to the next channel
4. must either within 3 seconds to the next channel or
5. exit controlbar with the menu and then switch to the next channel

no, not possible to move it anymore .. I am using AM/PM and thats minimum space needed
as for the VideoOSD, thats just how it works.... there is nothing that can be done. UP/DOWN opens up the top bar and doesn't switch the channels.
thats why I originally made TV Infobar stay there indefinitely so that channel switch works, once you are done switching channels you close it and VideoOSD auto closes...

I could already imagine it with am/pm.
To get back to the infobar/controlbar ... we originally had that only the infobar was shown and hidden again.
And that without opening the controlbar afterwards.
Did @montoya want this attitude?
The only thing is that only the infobar is shown and hidden again.
Everything else can be controlled, and we originally had it that way, using the menu button.
And please don't get me wrong now @amet. I really appreciate your work and effort.

Since the only way to bring it up is to hit βselectβ(Siri pad) , there is no other way to bring up VideoOSD without changing the key mapping...
