Sorry. Work from home has been busy.
This lockup just happened. After restart, the library cleaner ran and was very slow.
File name is 60VJY.log and there was one before that, but I didn't catch the name.
Is there a log some where with the names?

looks like you are using the samba(
SMB) as well(or you have used it in past) and that it doesn't have the proper authorization.
does that source still exist? -> "
smb://USERNAME:PASSWORD@STANS-MAC-MINI/Video/"
Code: Select all
23:48:20.704 T:6127677440 DEBUG: CDSMSession: Failed to resolve netbios name, using hostname
23:48:20.729 T:6127677440 ERROR: CDSMSession: Auth failed, reason(-1073741715)
23:48:20.729 T:6127677440 ERROR: CDSMFile: Failed to create session to check exists for 'TV (DVD Format)/Star Trek-The Animated Series/s1e7e8e9e10e11e12/VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_TS.IFO'
looks to me that the failure and lockup is due to the attempt to clear the library with
SMB sources and its not SFTP related
EDIT: looking into it more, looks like you have NFS source setup as well? that doesnt seem to throw any errors, just wondering why all 3?

OK, I got another one: 1QI2N.log
And all the different ways (nfs,
SMB, sftp) was how I was trying to get something to work when nothing was. I will remove the other two since that is obfuscating the issue.

Hmm. I can't see any sources setup with the other two (nfs, or
smb) in the configuration.
I do see the '//' in the filename though.
I didn't know that would be a problem. It would not be on a "normal" unix type system, but I guess I should not make any assumptions though.

I should also say that the location 'TV (DVD Format)/Star Trek-The Animated Series/s1e7e8e9e10e11e12/VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_TS.IFO' is not valid, but there is no source config (that I can find) that is trying to access it. Is there some cache that needs deleting?

there is no cache, its a library entry... you must have setup the sources with NFS and
SMB at some point and when you removed them you didn't allow MrMC to remove items from the library.
can you do a Library clean manually please, Settings -> Video -> Library -> Clean Library and post a
debuglog after that completes

I did remove them as a source and replaced them using the mrmc source setup menus. That's why I can't find them to remove them again.
However, I did not use the process you suggested before believing the periodic Library cleaner (the extension) would take care of that. I guess I was wrong.
New debug log after completion: RBIJ5.log

Now after a new lockup.
A new log: LER6W.log

I dont see the lockup, only thing I see is the clean background mode
Code: Select all
22:56:33.774 T:6134607872 DEBUG: enterBackgroundDetached: waiting for network services to stop
also, the log is still full of
SMB source entries... I would suggest you remove/reinstall MrMC to clean it up, but since you don't have
MySQL database setup you will loose watched status.
could you try to disable library update addon to see if thats locking it up?

Is there a way to save and restore the config, or do I have to type it all in again?
Also,do you suggest I remove and reinstall before trying disabling the extension or do that first?
